When Outbound Routing matches a PSTN number to a route, route consists of a list of trunks

Significant benefits for inter-networking
Resiliency – multiple egress points to the same SIP Peers formally supported
Internetworking for Bypass – Bypass can happen for all calls in a branch without high overhead
Multiple Sites connecting to the same Service Provider using TLS/SRTP

Define multiple trunks between Mediation and the SIP Peer representing SIP termination
Trunk configuration scoped globally or per trunk.
