1 Senior Bios

2 #39 Grant Dennis Grant brought determination and work ethic everyday to practice. Continually he challenged his teammates to be the best and most accurate kicker they could be. After high school Grant plans to attend the Air Force Academy or a traditional 4 year University where he can pursue Air Force ROTC. He plans on majoring in Aeronautical Engineering and then move on to pilot training

3 #1 Ke’von Ahmad Ke’von was a leader both on and off of the field. His impressive numbers (1,798 All-Purpose yards, 16 TD’s, 6 INT) and accolades (District MVP, Hon. Mention All State, Fort Worth Area 1st Team WR, etc.) prove his worth on the field but his dedication to being at every summer workout and never missing a practice speak to his leadership that took place off of the game field. Ke’von is still deciding between multiple schools including UCF, FAU, Illinois, Boise State, San Diego State, Louisville, Baylor, Houston and SMU.

4 #9 Konner Carr Konner was a great competitor throughout spring and fall camp and faced adversity early on in the season. It is rare to see a young man faced with that adversity fight through it and become a leader in the locker room day after day. Konner didn’t miss a practice and was constantly in the ear of other receivers offering help and coaching them up on whatever he saw at practice. Konner plans on attending Oklahoma University in the Fall.

5 #20 Cole Brown Cole was a tremendous playmaker for us throughout his senior year. His electrifying touchdown against Trinity was one of the best plays of the season. He finished the season with 889 all purpose yards, 6 touchdowns, and earned all-district honors as a second team wide receiver. Cole will have participated in football and baseball all four years at CHHS. His favorite memories are working with teammates in the offseason and playing in games.

6 #84 Jackson Anderson Jackson is a great example of a student athlete at CHHS. While participating in four years of football and track, he has earned the honor of being a National Merit Scholar. Jackson was a positive contributor to our team because of his intelligence as a player exhibited by playing all receiver positions, and his character on and off the field. He plans on majoring in finance but is currently undecided on where he will attend college. His favorite memory is “all of the friendships and bonds I made with teammates through workouts and practices”.

7 #81 Grayson Gradke Grayson was a very unselfish contributor to our football program. He would fill any role to help his team be successful on game day or as a practice player, and could play all receiver positions. Grayson played three years of football and also plays lacrosse. He will be attending Abilene Christian University in the fall.

8 #3 Thomas Chapman Thomas was an anchor this year for our Panther football team. His leadership and work ethic pushed him into an elected Captain position this season and was considered a coach to our younger players. Thomas finished the season with 43 tackles and 15 tackles for loss. He also added 5 sacks, 12 hurries and 1 fumble recovery. Thomas is a 3 year letterman and 2 year first team all-district defensive end. Thomas was also voted 5A AP Sports Editors All-State Honorable Mention. Thomas is still deciding on The Naval Academy or South Dakota School of Mines where he would like to further his education in the studies of aeronautical engineering.

9 #5 Nick Clark Nick proved to be a great defensive end this year with a tough attitude on the field. Nick showed great improvement coming into the 2017 season. Nick is a 2 year letterman and was looked up to by his peers because of his leadership during practice and games. Nick finished the season with 46 tackles and 11 tackles for loss. He also added 3 sacks, 6 hurries and 1 interception. He wanted to do anything he possibly could to help his team succeed. Nick was voted 2nd team all district defensive end this season. Nick is still deciding on Texas Tech, Texas State, or Austin College to further his education. Nick wants to pursue a career as a trauma nurse.

10 #46 Theo Schiotz Theo truly learned the core values of the Colleyville Heritage Football program and applied them in his life and strived to help his teammates on and off the field. He was a lead by example type of leader and was looked up to by his peers. He finished the season with 26 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, and 8 hurries. Theo is a tremendous leader and his contagious attitude will be missed. He excelled on the field as a football player and was selected as a 2nd Team All-District Defensive Lineman in 8-5A and he excelled in the classroom as well with his selection as a Honorable Mention Academic All-State player. Theo is still undecided on where he will be attending college, but plans to pursue a Geology degree. His future is extremely bright and we are proud that he was a part of the Colleyville Heritage Football program.

11 #45 Jonathan Shirley Jonathan is the embodiment of the core values that the football program stands for. He always looked for ways to improve his technique and ways to help his position group and his teammates. He finished the season with 28 tackles, 6 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, and 4 hurries. His attitude and leadership will be greatly missed, but are attributes that he will carry on with him for the rest of his life. Jonathan excelled on the field and was shown by his selection as a 1st Team All-District Defensive Lineman in 8-5A and excelled in the classroom and was shown through his selection as a Honorable Mention Academic All-State player. Jonathan is still undecided on where he will be attending college, but plans to pursue a finance degree. His future is extremely bright and we are proud that he was a part of the Colleyville Heritage Football program.

12 #76 Chris Kennedy Chris was a two year starter and an honorable mention all district offensive linemen in Chris started last year as a guard and was later moved to tackle. This year Chris started as a tackle and was later moved to guard. Regardless of the role that he was asked to fill, I knew we would always get maximum effort and intensity from Chris. His vocal leadership amongst the offensive line will be missed.

13 #55 Sean Walsh Sean returned to the program for his senior year, and maintained a starting position for all of the games that he was available. Sean ended up as our left tackle for the majority of the year and did an outstanding job of protecting our quarterback’s back side. Sean was an honorable mention all district tackle this year.

14 #54 Dylan Francis Dylan was a first team all district guard that also did an outstanding job as a tackle and an H back when called upon. More importantly, Dylan was one of our hardest workers in practice, and one of our most significant team leaders. As a result of his commitment, his teammates honored him by voting him as a team captain. He plans to attend either Texas State or Texas Tech to study kinesiology.

15 #62 Limber Alvarado Limber has been the starting center at Colleyville Heritage for the last two seasons, making more starts than any other offensive linemen in that span. He made first team all district this season and was one of the more consistent performers on this year’s offensive line. He will be attending the University of Oklahoma and will be studying business.

16 #67 Jonathon Shirley Jonathon played primarily guard in 2017, but also played some tackle in his career at Colleyville Heritage. Jonathon was also a contributor on special teams as a member of our PAT/Field Goal unit. Jonathon selflessly served the majority of the year on our scout team offense and had an important role in preparing our defense each week. He will be attending Pratt University in New York City to study architecture.

17 #78 Alex Winger Alex was a two year letterman as an offensive tackle. Alex was also a contributor on special teams as a member of our PAT/Field Goal unit, and was a valuable backup on our offensive line. Alex also gained the respect of his teammates by his willingness to work on our scout teams to help prepare our defense.

18 #63 Danny Lam Danny just finished his first full year on the varsity after splitting time between the varsity and JV last year. In addition to being the team’s undisputed dancing champion, Danny provided excellent depth at our guard position this season. Danny also selflessly served his teammates on our scout teams this year. Danny also excelled in the classroom, earning Honorable Mention Academic All State Honors. He will be attending the University of Texas to study physics.

19 #56 Jadon Allen This was Jadon’s first year at Colleyville Heritage after moving here last spring. Jadon worked hard to learn the offense and gave us some significant contributions including a start against Frisco Heritage early in the season. Jadon got better as the year went on and his grade outs improved each time he stepped on the field.

20 #17 Landon Byers We were lucky enough to have Landon come out from basketball to help out with the Panther offense. Landon was such a fun player to coach, his positivity was contagious, and he was always lightening the mood with his humor. Aside from his great personality, he was an incredibly hard worker. He not only played Tight End, but also had a role at H back. After graduation Landon plans to attend Texas Tech University and earn a degree in Business.

21 #12 Michael Allman Michael moved to CHHS in the spring and immediately became a integral part of our team. He moved around on the offensive side of the ball and settled in as a Tight End. He worked hard was constantly wanting to improve. He came to practice everyday ready to work and get better. After graduation, Michael plans to attend Texas Tech University and earn a degree in Business.

22 #25 Michale Cornish Back in the Spring, Michale came to help out at Tight End. He came everyday to practice with a great attitude and was willing to do whatever it took for us to win. He was competitive and coachable. He worked hard every day and these attributes will lead to a very successful future for Michale. After graduation, Michale plans to attend college and earn a degree in the social sciences.

23 #23 Jordan Wyatt Jordan’s commitment level grew each year in the program and is example for younger athletes to follow. Jordan was a contributor as a special teams player and provided depth at the linebacker position. Always giving his best and being a unselfish player, teammate and friend. Jordan set high expectations for himself in the classroom as he earned Academic All-State Honorable Mention. Jordan has been accepted and received scholarships to several top universities, he plans to major in Criminal Justice or Mechanical engineering.

24 #13 Hunter Ridley Hunter provided great play on special teams and depth at linebacker. He was an important part of the linebacker core as he provided great competition and a positive attitude. Hunter was a very cerebral player and held high academic standards for himself as well. Hunter is planning on attending Texas Tech University and study biology, with pursuing a career in sports medicine.

25 #44 Ben Ecklar Ben provided great play on special teams and depth at linebacker. His commitment to the program is unmatched and he is a role model for the younger athletes. Ben was a tremendous student in the classroom and has high expectations of himself. Ben will attend TCC and then look to transfer and study in the business realm, possibly accounting.

26 #42 Deuce Nesbit Deuce was a pivotal piece to the team with his playmaking ability as he accounted for 109 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery. Deuce demonstrated a great work ethic and commitment to his team. He received respect and trust from his teammates, and that is evident by his teammates elected him to serve as Captain. Deuce is a 2 year letterman and was selected to 1st Team All-District Linebacker as a senior, 2nd Team All-District Linebacker as a junior. Deuce is undecided on where to attend college, and he would like pursue a degree in Business.

27 #15 Paul Uremovich Paul showed great versatility by playing Receiver,Fullback,H-Back,and on Special Teams. Paul earned 1st Team All District Honors as an H-Back. Some of Paul’s best plays were made in our biggest games: Trinity,Grapevine,Richland.

28 #32 Blake Elliott Blake did a great job of helping the team. On Offense Blake played H Back and Full Back. He also played Defense and on Special Teams. Blake has an awesome attitude and an infectious personality. Blake was a joy to coach.

29 #33 Kyle Troup Kyle is a person of great character. Kyle works very hard and shows tremendous determination. Kyle is extremely loyal and is a solid team member. There is no doubt Kyle will have a successful future. He plans to attend Texas A&M and possibly major in business but is still undecided.

30 #6 Caleb Murphy Caleb Murphy was and 3 year letterman on the Varsity and was a starter on both offense and defense this past season. He was used in different ways to help the team have a successful season. Caleb played with passion and a love for the game, he was determined to help the team win anyway that he could. He was district 8-5A 1st Team Defensive Back and 2nd Team Running Back. He had 939 total yards and 9 touchdowns on the season. Caleb plans to attend college to become a chemical engineer and continue his football career at the next level.

31 #18 Tyler Hoernig Tyler was a leader and hard worker for the back end of the Panther defense. His leadership and work ethic allowed Tyler to succeed on and off the field throughout the year. The attitude and work ethic he brought each day allowed Tyler to achieve 8-5A first team all district safety. Tyler will attend Oklahoma after he graduates and major in business.

32 #19 Brandon Price Brandon was a hard worker and very smart player that allowed him to be a successful for the Panther defense. Brandon was a great teammate that showed up everyday ready to compete. When Brandon was called upon you could trust and know he was going to do everything within his ability to be successful. Brandon is currently trying to decide on whether to attend Oklahoma or Texas after he graduates to pursue a degree in biology.

33 #6 Caleb Murphy Caleb Murphy was and 3 year letterman on the Varsity and was a starter on both offense and defense this past season. He was used in different ways to help the team have a successful season. Caleb played with passion and a love for the game, he was determined to help the team win anyway that he could. He was district 8-5A 1st Team Defensive Back and 2nd Team Running Back. He had 939 total yards and 9 touchdowns on the season. Caleb plans to attend college to become a chemical engineer and continue his football career at the next level.

34 #22 Brian Scott Brian was a great teammate. He relished every opportunity he was given on the field. His enthusiasm was contagious. His attitude was great and he was positive in all aspects of the game. When the lights came on Brian was always ready for action. Brian plans to attend college at Texas Tech to study business finance.

35 #28 Quiante Garner Quiante was a valuable player for our team this year. He took every challenge presented to him and succeeded in areas that many didn’t think that he could. He was dedicated to his team and was motivated to help the team win when his number was called. Quiante was 8-5A 1st Team all District Running back he rushed for 643 yards and had 15 total touchdowns this year. Quiante plans to attend college and study pediatric nursing at Southern University.

36 #7 Jagger LaRoe Jagger arrived at CHHS last January and quickly showed his desire to compete and contribute to our team’s mission. Jagger received 8-5A first team all district quarterback this season and was a very accomplished quarterback throughout this season as he threw for 3029 yards and 33 TD’s. His leadership and work ethic is what produced these accomplishments. It is because of these qualities that he was able to come in and not only learn a new offense but thrive in doing so while also earning the trust of his fellow teammates and coaches. Jagger is still undecided on where he will attend college and continue his football career but with his great attributes and skills he developed at CHHS it is no doubt that he will be successful in the next chapter of his life

37 #4 Landry French Landry was a competitor, a leader and a great teammate. He competed every day at practice throughout the spring and the season and was able to help his team achieve a district championship. Every time he was needed and called upon he was ready for the moment. He also learned how to lead and encourage and do whatever it took to make sure not only he was successful but the team was successful. He is the ultimate team player. Landry finished with 1048 yards passing and 16 TD’s while rushing for another 157 yards on 32 carries. He is considering several options for college, and with his on and off the field talent and personality there is no doubt that he will make us proud just as he did the past four years at CHHS.
