“We estimate that if 10,000 Microsoft employees use Sociabble, it will generate between 350 and 500 million potential impressions per year, with an estimated equivalent advertising value of between 5 and 10 million dollars.” – Sébastien Imbert, Director of Digital Marketing, Microsoft France SITUATION Brainsonic was selected to help carry out the objectives of a Microsoft advocacy initiative to easily provide relevant content for employees to share, while amplifying the reach of Microsoft brand content on social media networks. Launching employee advocacy on a global scale required the platform address specific regional needs. After evaluating several tools and launching a pilot with Sociabble, Microsoft scaled the program worldwide. Brainsonic’s activities include a complete range of tactical Software-as-a-Service offerings: enterprise video platform, brand content management, product asset management, and Sociabble, an innovative brand advocacy solution.   SOLUTION Microsoft launched the Sociabble employee advocacy platform, aggregating content from official company social media streams, curated RSS feeds and the accounts of Microsoft executives. Utilizing Azure Media Services, blob storage, SQL Database, and IaaS and PaaS services, Microsoft used the platform’s dynamic channel functionality to tag content and filter it onto channels. The platform's channel structure, among other features, allowed the company to provide global and local content. BENEFITS Brainsonic’s choice to host Sociabble on Microsoft Azure allowed it to easily scale out individual pilot programs to full-scale global operations. The platform's channel structure on Azure allowed employees to receive personalized content and enabled greater adoption by users.
