You will deliver a 60 second talk

2. Book Talk Your assignment is to deliver a 60 second talk.
The purpose of your book talk is to inform your classmates about the book you have read and to provide your analysis and opinion of it.

3. What to include in your book talk.
1. Title of the book.
2. Name of the author.
3. Genre (type) of book.
4. Where you located this book.
5. Brief plot summary. Describe what happened in the story in five to ten sentences. Do not reveal the ending of the book.

4. 6. Personal analysis. ( In five to ten sentences, tell what you thought of the book. Comment on the strengths and weaknesses, or good or bad points of this book. Tell why you would or would not recommend this book to your friend.)

5. Presentation
You will be marked on your oral presentation for this book talk.
You may choose to sit or stand.
You may refer to your notes while talking about your book.
Please bring your book to class to be able to show your classmates.

6. At the end of your presentation, you will be expected to submit your written notes. You will not be marked on the written part, but I want to see it.
Be creative! Combine the answers to items #1-4 in a creative, interesting and well written opening sentence.
