STARTING FALL 2018 SEMESTER
New fourth-class cadets (other than fall sports participants) report on Saturday, August 11
Returning upper-class cadets report on Sunday, August 19
Classes begin on Wednesday, August 22
DETERMINING LENGTH OF SEMESTER
SACS requires at least 42 class meeting (14 weeks)
At least one week is provided for examinations
One week of furlough for Corps of Cadets at Thanksgiving + one week in the spring term
STARTING SPRING 2019 SEMESTER
At least three weeks provided for Winter Furlough (December 13, 2018 – January 6, 2019)
Classes begin on Wednesday following the Corps return [January 9, 2019]
Cadets do not return on Sunday before the Monday of Martin Luther King Day (January 14, 2019)
