2 Geography The Nile River is important because it gives you food and materials. Ancient Egyptians called black soil from the floods “Gift of the Nile”. In Ancient Egypt, the reason why it was always flooded was because from the rain and melted snow.

3 History Egyptians wore make up to protect there skin from the sun and it made them feel like they have powers. Egyptians used moldy bread as a treatment for infections. Cats were sacred in Ancient Egypt. The Ancient Egyptians was the first to note down.

4 Government In the kingdom court cases they were ordered by a local council of elderly people called kenbet. Citizens had to pay taxes to support there government. They did not have complicated laws and statues. The wives of the pharaohs were the second powerful people on land after the pharaohs.

5 Invention's and Ideas The ancient Egyptians did not start using the wheel until it was introduced by foreign invaders. Paper comes from the Greek world from the papyrus plant. They invented something like bowling where you had to roll the ball into the hole. They also invented big door locks and big keys that are two feet long.

6 Agriculture The Nile River would break its banks each year.
The flooding of the Nile River enabled farming possible surrounding the banks of the Nile river. The industrial crops produced in ancient Egypt included the papyrus.

7 Culture/Religion Clothing-Egyptians made their clothes out of fabric called linen. In ancient Egypt, children could not wear shoes until they were 6 years old. The men and woman wore jewelry such as a neckless, bracelets and the most famous jewelry was the neck collar. Both men and woman wore short hair a lot of times. They also was barefoot a lot of times and if they did were shoes. They wore some sandals made from woven grass. Farmers-some of the farmers grew barley to make bear or wheat for bread. They also made vegetables such as onions and cucumbers.

8 Daily Life Being clean was very important to the rich.
The rich people made the nice gold/silver jewelry, while the poor made jewelry out of copper. The men and woman wore makeup because they would have cases. It was so hot they had to were linen clothes. They houses were made out of baked mud it was not that big it had a little mount furniture and it had a little mount of windows. Slaves wore patterned fabric.

9 Economy The ancient Egypt was called the an ancient command economy.
They were attendance to record the stocks of foods, getting wills and other legal documents. They also did magic spells in ancient Egypt.

10 Architecture The step pyramid was built 2630 b.c.
It was the burial place of king Djoser. The architecture of the step pyramid was Imhotep.

11 Leaders The ancient Egyptians did not call the king pharaohs that name came from the Greek people. We really don’t know how many people owned Egypt but their were a lot. Some of the legend pharaohs are now people who became gods of ancient Egypt. King Djoser was a leader he made the step pyramid.
