Communication with both supervisors (academic WUR supervisor and local, industrial supervisor) is important
Any HNE staff member can supervise internships
Find supervisor yourself
Make sure expectations are clear for everyone
Try to see more of the company or institute than just your working space
Indicate that you like to be actively involved

16. Some urgent vacancies for students who can start NOW (1/2):
TNO: Alcohol consumption, well-being, and cognition “a real-life study in 800 Dutch students” Emphasis on data-analysis, English-speaking students possible
Hospital “Gelderse Vallei”: acidity, phosphate, sodium and potassium in drinks – analysis of popular beverages. Aim: improve diet advice for patients. Current data are too limited. Preference for Dutch-speaking student.

Wageningen, several locations: U-SNIFF – validation of an odor identification test for children This project is part of a large international study, to validate the U-SNIFF odor identification test for children. We will measure olfactory function by means of a 12-item odor identification test (U-SNIFF) twice, in 50 Dutch children.
