2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Product would basically contain of tags and a tracking device to track down the tag.
The tag is basically a transponder which upon receiving a signal emits another signal in response to the stimulus.
The tags would also contain small chip which could save small amount of data.

3.  The tracking device would contain some sort of antenna which would send electromagnetic waves to the trackers to respond. 
The tags would also contain a buzzer which would help us to track it down when it is in vicinity.

Mainly for household purposes. Can be used to find lost keys, cell phones, etc.
Could also be used as pet tags. It can be attached to the collar of the pet and could be used to find it in case it is lost.
It's uses can also be extended to tracking the position of a certain book in a huge library.
In future it could also be used as implants to track criminals.

With revolution in this field it could be used for many purposes in the near future.
It could be used as an identity proofs for people by implanting them.
It could be used to track down lost cars.
It could be used to protect merchandise from theives in stores.
