Be familiar with what your children are watching or play and join with them sometimes.
Restrict viewing and playing times. Don’t feel guilty about turning the TV or games console off!
Consider whether the content is appropriate for your child.
Think carefully about having a TV/games console in their bedroom.

10. BULLYING Some useful advice to give your child:
Tell a teacher you trust.
Don’t confront the bully.
Stay in a group.
Don’t fight back to defend yourself, but walk away (maybe towards a teacher).
Get away and get help if you are scared.
Don’t fight to keep your stuff – your safety is more important than possessions.

Think about the level of online safety in your home, are you happy with it, what, if anything do you need to change?
When it comes to the Internet, TV and computer games are there adequate boundaries in place? Do you need to set some?
