The custom says that before kissing he or she should take a berry and give it to person who wants to kiss. When the bunch runs out of berries, kissing is over as well.

5. The traditional meal is the stuffed turkey and different green vegetables. There are other dishes such as sausages wrapped in bacon , cranberry, baked potatoes, brussels sprouts, chestnuts. For dessert the famous pudding is given which is poured custard or brandy.

In the past, it was a day when employers gave money, food, clothes or other valuable goods to their employees. In modern times, it is an important day for sporting events and the beginning of the post-Christmas sales.
