Trailer Log Remove Paper Trailer Log at Post Field collects truck information on Mobile Device Attach Photos as necessary Truck information immediately Available for Review We’ve leveraged the customizable Inspection Reports on Logistics properties in a variety of different ways to tailor to their specific Needs. Background: Historically, SPs handled auditing Vehicle traffic in and out of a property through the Guard Shack logging information on paper logs. These logs provided a record stored at the Guard Shack of movement. This had issues including rifling through a number of sheets of paper for auditing or forensic checking. There was also a question of accurate documentation. First, we’ve helped to eliminate paper trailer logs at the guard shack. Using the Mobile phone, we log incoming and outgoing trucks. We run through a short list of specific questions and attach supporting photographs of items like license plates, trailer numbers, and seals on locked doors. All of the data is then immediately available in a format similar to the standard Trailer log for review. Key Advantages: This assists in a number of ways. The photographs add an extra layer of accuracy to the records. All truck traffic now is logged electronically and available with a quick keyword search. Large national customers now have the ability to access trailer activity at all locations immediately.

Static Yard Check Verify Trailers in Yard are Secured Randomly Verify Trailer Seals Note Discrepancies Results Immediately Available Photos as necessary In order to raise awareness during nightly patrols within locked trailer yards, we have the staff complete audits of random trailers. We inspect for any open/unsealed trailers and note any discrepancies. These reports are immediately available and ed to customer contacts in case there is an emerging security theat. (Exel/FEDEX/UPS) Background: Trailer yards are vulnerable at night during shut down periods. Meeting the needs of our customers to ensure that trailer stay locked and sealed during off hours, we complete static yard checks and document random checks throughout the yard. Advantages: First, this brings awareness of the issue to the Security team. They can focus efforts on physically checking seals at night providing photographic proof of the checks. Increases visibility on the yard at night and provides an audit of how often trailers are being checked on. Here we can document and

Temperature Check Verify Minimum Temperatures are maintained on Trailers Possible Early Detection of Problems Photo evidence Immediately available for review One customer (Exel Kraft) had a real need to check temperatures on trailers to ensure there was no spoilage of product. Now all trailers are checked at night as well as upon departure to help drivers make sure the product is safely delivered. Background: For this customer, having a trailer lose power can spell the potentially very expensive loss of product while the trailer is stored on their facility. Security was asked to assist and continually check the temperatures of the trailers in the yard. Advantages: These checklist bring visibility to the Security Staff of the concern. They Check each trailer location, not only documenting the temperatures but photographing the gauges as well. We have already been able to catch issues early on and compare data to previous checks to provide customers with very valuable data about how long a failure has been in effect and whether or not the product is salvageable.

Prevented Mispull Raise Awareness on Accurate Trailer Pulls Report Back where Mispulls have been Prevented Immediately document Trackable Supporting one customer’s need (FEDEX) to triple check that the right trailer is being removed from the yard, we’ve organized a program to report any Prevented Mispulls back to them. This report helps increase awareness to the security team and inform our customer where we’re adding value to ensure that no mistakes are made leaving the facility, saving them thousands of dollars each month due to mis-hipments. Background: Mistakes happen. Drivers may be pull the wrong trailer and this means that the product ends up going to the wrong location. This can result in thousands of dollars in loss revenue (especially for FEDEX). The prevented mispull program was put into place to bring awareness to the security staff about the importance of verifying the exit paperwork matches the tractor as well as trailer. Advantages: Forcing the staff to photograph the exit paperwork as well as document critical information has already helped the Security Staff catch multiple instances where the wrong trailer was removed from the truck yard. The report is immediately transmitted to the customers operations highlighting where a mistake was caught as the truck was about to leave the property. Thousands of dollars of business has been saved with this application already adding more value to the security program. Additional Notes: This program as well as others was introduced to the field through a number of means including Notifications broadcasted program wide through the CyCop app, Post Orders made available through the CyCop app, as well as training videos sent through CyCop directly to the field for instruction on the mobile devices.
