drawing conclusion using text evidence
Questions are in both multiple choice and written response (please be sure to use correct grammar, such as subject-verb agreement, when writing short responses).

Plural Nouns- spelling rule -s, -es (i.e. socks, dishes) and irregular (i.e. children)
Abbreviation- capitalization and period (Dr. Mr. Mrs. Ms.)
Possessive Noun-
Singular: ‘s (Sally’s backpack)
Plural Regular: s’(students’ books)
Plural Irregular: ‘s (geese’s feathers)
Proper nouns- capitalization
List of items in a sentence- using commas and “and” to separate a list (Example: I have a cat, a dog, a bird, and a fish at home.)

5. Writing
Students will be asked to edit a letter with mistakes in capitalization, commas, and possessive nouns.
