Hello I’m Constance and I’m Fleur
We are going to speak for three minutes
About atheism

2. Constance’s Family! My mum, dad and sister are all atheists
This means we don’t believe in any god or gods, and believe they are myths and legends
My family and I respect other peoples’ beliefs and traditions
We are happy believing in the here and now!

3. Fleur’s Family! All my family are Atheists.
We think it’s wrong to believe in something your not sure about.
My family treat others the way they want to be treated, including people who have different beliefs.
None of us like change but we are where we are

4. Our Friends
We both have friends who live in different parts of the world
We both have friends who live here, whose families are from different parts of the world
Some of our friends have different religious beliefs, but that doesn’t change anything for our friendships
We should respect different beliefs and views

5. Our School At school we have friends who are:
Muslims
Christians
Jewish
We like to hear about their religions, which is what today is about
We hope our friends respect we are atheists

7. Hagia Sophia (Slide 2) Was a Christian church Then became a mosque
Then it was secularised (non religious) and became a museum
So it has been a place of worship for two religions and is now a museum for everyone

Just because you have no belief in a religion or have a different religion, does not mean you cannot be friends
Some people believe in fighting for their religion
We believe in peace
