152 new / redesigned programs – accelerated, aligned with industry need Exceeded recruitment goals College/Career Navigators located in Career Centers Greater community college, WFD system integration Achievement Coaches led to high completion and retention Limited resources for individualized support Different data systems between credit and non-credit programs and with WFD system Different priorities and culture between systems Building off-semester scheduling and other models given incompatibility with financial aid regulations Building technological solutions to assist cross-system coordination #

15 Eight Focus Areas Success coaches assesses eight areas critical for success and address potential obstacles to completion: Key Findings: It does not always take a “meeting” for a Success Coach to be successful. Three + meetings is the benchmark for increased student success/retention Conversation is most valuable asset of coaching, followed by motivation, managing commitments, and career guidance Drop analysis provides key information for assisting participants in the future #

16 Successes and Challenges
BEST PRACTICES & LESSONS LEARNED Marketing and launch strategies for first meetings is key; Faculty support and buy-in is essential for success; PAVES Coaching produced a 17.3% year over year retention gain at Wallace State-Hanceville and an 8.7% retention gain at Wallace- Selma; The strong partnership and on-going communication between PAVES and InsideTrack produced positive improvements in the service delivery plan; and InsideTrack continues to partner with the on campus PAVES teams to establish sustainable coaching programs in Hanceville, Selma and at CACC.
