1. Primary Food Packaging The HP Digital Press is intended for printing folding cartons. The printed packages, under certain well-defined conditions of use and when printing on the non-food contact side of the food package, meet the requirements of EU, FDA and Swiss regulations for printed food contact materials. Although the HP Indigo 1x000, 7x00 and 5x00 series digital presses are not intended for primary food packaging, it is possible that such applications could be printed with these presses. The suitability of these presses for primary packaging would depend on the specific application and use conditions. It is advised that customers contact HP Indigo for discussion of potential applications and use conditions on a case-by-case basis.
