4 Cultural competency? Cultural competence refers to an ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures.

6 Cultural competence comprises four components:
Awareness of one's own cultural worldview Attitude towards cultural differences (c) Knowledge of different cultural practices and worldviews (d) cross-cultural skills.
