The parent-teacher association (PTA) association is composed of parents, teachers and staff to facilitate parental participation in your child’s school.
What is the mission of the PTA?
PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Still time to join – annual membership. Currently 180 PGES Members including 100% of PGES Teachers!

6. GIVING TREE THANK YOU, FLYERS’ FAMILIES!
We raised $4,100, exceeding our $4,000 goal!
All donors receive a hummingbird on the Giving Tree in the school lobby. Nests are our PGES sponsors!
Money will be used to support PTA programs.

7. Box TOP Fall Contest Results
Thank you for your Box Tops contributions!
We have raised almost $600 so far.
1st Grade won by a landslide with over 1500 box tops collected.
(Third grade came in second with just shy of 1000.)
Ms. Swan’s class won the fall Box Top competition with They get a silly string battle with Principal Batten!
Mrs. Nelson (547) and Ms. Yates (510) came in close behind and get to battle each other with silly string.
Please keep bringing in your box tops. And keep using the Box Tops app!
Thank you to Erin Lane, Box Top Volunteer Coordinator. She’ll be sending home a winter collection sheet before Winter Break. The next contest will end February 16, but all box tops collected from now until then will count toward the contest. Prizes will be announced in January.
