Innovations and Advancement in FT and PP What are the most important challenges in communicating fiscal information? What do we know about the quality of information that is being produced and published? How do we know if we are doing it right? How do we correct and improve on a permanent basis? H ow can we assure sustainability of these initiatives beyond political shifts in our countries? Discussion animated by IFAC, GIFT, CL, UY, AR, and ALL 4

8 Summary Using Open Budget Survey tracker as at December 2016:
What budget documents/reports are being produced within government in the region but are not being published or being published in time? Publishing these documents could be (relatively) technically simple and low cost way to increase budget transparency Publication would demonstrate commitment to open government as OGP member 8
