2 Directions As usual for any quiz or test, consider the directions closely. Directions: Each of the questions here relates to “The Grandfather.” Based on your reading of the story, write an answer to each question. Make sure that your answers are all grammatically complete sentences and use your own words to compose your answers. If you need extra space for an answer, use the back of the page and include the number of the item.

What could you learn from this story that relates to your daily life? Explain. In paragraph 4, the author write that: “A tree was money.” This is really relates to my daily life in the US. I could learn from this story that relates to my daily life is that… I learned that life is very short, if I do not plant a “avocado tree” right now, what kind “tree” my family and friend will have when I die. In my opinion, the last sentence mean that the tree has become stronger over the time. The tree also represent for human, human also be stronger over the time. If I wrote a story about of of my relative, I would write about my brother because he’s a person helped me learn a lot of thing in the social life.
