Keep your eyes open for them this week in your reading.
When you think you find one, ask yourself these 2 questions to be sure there is a subject and a verb:
- Who or what did something?
- What did they do?

11. What makes a sentence fragment?
A fragment is created when a sentence does not have either a subject, a verb, or is not a complete thought.
In other words, the fragment IS NOT a sentence; it is a PART of a sentence.
