15 What to do with the HN SR? List the topics and gauge interest
Enhanced coordination techniques between devices, between cells in the same tier and multi tiers Enhanced interference mitigation techniques Enhanced spectrum utilization between Multi-RAT systems Seamless mobility of connection flows among Multi-RATs Enhanced interworking with other RAT (e.g. IEEE802.11) involving access points (i.e. IEEE802.11) and IEEE BS. Collaboration between Multi-RAT devices (i.e. restricted to terminal, or client, only) Enhanced Energy Saving mechanisms and optimization. These can all be grouped under the topic of “Hierarchical Networks” Straw poll Are you interested in starting a project on “Hierachical/Heterogenous Networks” in WG based on the HN Study Report? Yes: 14. No: 0.
