5 All Students Ready for Kindergarten
Participation in Maple Lake Public Schools’ Wee Irish Preschool will increase at least 5% from 65 students enrolled during the school year to at least 68 students in the school year. Goal met: 74 students enrolled Participation in the Pre-K Desired Results Developmental Profile will increase from 90% in the school year to at least 95% in the school year. Goal met: 100% participation in Attendance at the kindergarten parent informational meetings to start the school year will increase from 41% for the school year to at least 90% for the school year. 6 Read Well by Third Grade
Continuing to implement the 5 components of Reading Instruction and a Balanced Literacy approach into our core teaching in grades preK-Grade 3 MAP testing to identify student growth Achievement results disaggregated to identify students who require core instruction plus additional interventions through Title I, Reading Recovery, ADSIS, etc.

The percent of all 3rd grade students enrolled in Maple Lake Elementary School on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the reading accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will increase from 59.6% in 2016 to 72.2% in 2017. Goal not met: 65.1% proficient in The percent of free & reduced 3rd grade students enrolled in Maple Lake Elementary School on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the reading accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will increase from 35.3% in to 40.3% in 2017. Goal met: 60.0% proficient in The percent of special education 3rd grade students enrolled in Maple Lake Elementary School on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the reading accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will increase from 37.5% in to 42.5% in 2017. The proficiency gap between all students and the special education students enrolled in Maple Lake Public Schools on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the reading accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will decrease from 32.8 % in 2015 to 30.8% in 2016. Goal not met: actual # 33.1% The proficiency gap between all students and the free & reduced students enrolled in Maple Lake Public Schools on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the reading accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will decrease from 16.1 % in 2015 to 14.1% in 2016. Goal not met: actual # 15.3% The proficiency gap between all students and the special education students enrolled in Maple Lake Public Schools on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the math accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will decrease from 33.6 % in 2015 to 31.6% in 2016. Goal met: actual # 23.7% The proficiency gap between all students and the free & reduced students enrolled in Maple Lake Public Schools on October 1, 2016 who are proficient in the math accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) will decrease from 7.4 % in 2015 to 5.4% in 2016. Goal met: actual # 5.3%

11 All Students Attaining Career and College Readiness before Graduating from High School
Maple Lake High School will have 100% of its students enrolled in 9th grade Civics courses during the third quarter and complete a Career Investigation Unit and course plan, which includes a Personal Learning Plan. Goal met: 100% participation The 80% of the Maple Lake High School juniors will take the ACT during the school day in 2017. Goal not met: 78.2% took the test Personal Learning Plans will be reviewed annually by 100% of the students enrolled in grades 10 and 11 at Maple Lake High School. Goal met: 100% reviewed
