FERO INVEST is a dynamic, market oriented and flexible group, established in 2003 which now has around 800 employees.
Turnover per year is about 200 millions Euros.
It consist of several companies which are part of the metalworking industry, the renewable energy sector, as well as the electricity trading sector.
The in-depth knowledge of the industry and business surroundings in Macedonia and South East Europe enables us to provide our customers with complex and multidisciplinary products and services.

4. AQUAWATT
AQUAWATT is the leading designing and planning office in Macedonia, specialized in the design and implementation of small hydropower plants with a capacity of over 1MW.
So far we have worked on over 90 projects for various investment companies .
AQUAWATT has licenses and authorizations for constructions design, review and supervision.
AQUAWATT successfully completed the certification process for the ISO 9001: 2008 certification from IQNet and Quality Austria Certificate of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Austria - System of quality management.

ENERGY MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS (EMS) is an innovative technology company providing services in the field of electromechanical system for the hydro power industry.
EMS also works as an inspection body, performing periodic and annual testing on electrical equipment and electrical power plants.
EMS has a License A for construction of first category objects.
EMS holds an ISO certificate of technical inspection and periodic testing of power plants and electrical equipment, including: Generators, Engines, Power Transformers, Instrument Transformers, Switches, Surge Arresters, Condensers, Lightning Protection and Grounding, Relay Protection, Batteries, Electrical Installation, etc.
The company is consisted by highly skilled and motivated team of experienced electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and technicians.

12. SMALL HYDRO POWER PLANTS
The SMALL HYDRO POWER SECTOR (SHPP SECTOR), which is part of FERO INVEST, consists of several companies whose range includes:
21 SHPP’s in operation;
5 SHPP’s under construction.
The biggest plant is SHPP Jablanica, built on the river Jablanica, with an installed power of 3,5 MW.
The smallest plant is SHPP Ohrid 1, built on the water supply system in the city of Ohrid with an installed power of 100 kW.

FERO INVEST has had successful Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partnerships with investors of 24 SHPP’s:
8 SHPP’s are already built and operational;
The biggest plant is SHPP Ribnicka with an installed power of 5.2 MW.
The smallest plant is SHPP Zelezna Reka 15 with an installed power of 365 kW.
FERO INVEST has concluded Monitoring and Maintenance contracts with 6 SHPP’s with equipment not imported by FERO INVEST.
FERO INVEST has concluded Construction design contract with 16 SHPP’s.
FERO INVEST will have completed over 70 projects by 2020.

BRAKO is a company leader in production of wire products in the country as well as in the wider region of South East Europe.
Company “BRAKO” has been founded back in 1947 in Veles.
Two factories, first in Macedonia and second in Serbia.
The main activity of this company is manufacturing wire products, a program which makes our company recognizable on markets in the Balkans and Europe.
Due to the requirements of SHPP, BRAKO manufactures turbine casing, prepares complete solutions for metal constructions and pipeline, valve and distribution/switchboards systems etc.
In addition to wire products, BRAKO manufactures medical equipment and assistive devices, telecommunication infrastructure, freight trailers, conveyor belts.
Special ecological vehicles for cleaning of the roads, sweepers, etc.

EDS is the only Macedonian company that has developed an electrical supply network and experience in supplying electricity on the free market.
EDS is a member of the international stock market for electricity supply, which means that the companies buying electricity from EDS will be assured in the agreed price and the quality of its delivery.
