Physical Characteristics (What does the animal look like? (ex:  size, body, teeth, claws, beak, color, fur/feathers) The shell is mostly grey, black, green, or yellow. The color of it’s skin is decided by the color of its shell. Most of these pictures are formatted so turtles do not really glow :D Let’s Continue

Return Home The sea turtle does not protect it’s self it has a hard shell which makes it hard for predators to kill them

Animal Babies How is the animal born? (ex:  hatches from an egg, born alive) Return Home The mom sea turtle goes back to the island she was born at and lays over 350 eggs but not much of them survives. For the sea turtles who do survive depending if it’s a male or female. The male will swim in the ocean until it dies and the female will go back and make more eggs.

Sea turtles are a endangered species About 1 in 1,000 baby sea turtles make it to adulthood They lived on the Earth more than 220 million years. They even managed to survive weather changes which killed the dinosaurs. 6 out of 7 sea turtle species still live on Earth today.
