Industrial Revolution: The changes resulting from the change from domestic production by hand to the use of machines in factories To industrialize a nation needs: a large number of workers ( supported by a large agricultural surplus Capital (money for machinery and factories) Resources – iron, coal and water power at first – other resources later Political stability to protect factories and trade transportation
