I visited London a few years ago and while I was there watched “Wicked” on the West End. “Wicked” was the first musical I ever saw live on stage and I literally cried when Elphaba performed her famous number “Defying Gravity” while being lifted off the stage and into the air. That moment was so powerful for me and the production left me breathless. At that moment I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and it stuck with for a very long time. It was the first thing that I felt I completely understood something and was willing to do whatever it takes to become a part of the special world on the stage.

I have been in a few productions over the past few years including “Sweeney Todd”, “Fame” and “Dracula”. But the one that meant the most to me and stands out among the other is definitely “Little Shop of Horrors” (2014). I had always been in the ensemble and never anything majorly important until this performance in which I was cast as Seymour, the lead role, in my school production. I learnt a lot about being a leader, how to take criticism and how a full show comes together as I helped in other areas too. It was very changeling in the both the vocal and acting aspects but I enjoyed every minute.

I like the style of Naturalism and would love to learn about it more. I find it interesting and think it would be extremely difficult to become the character as it is based so closely off real life and actual people.

4. I feel like this symbol represents me because I am always either way up high and extremely happy or very depressed, there is no in between. I am also unsure of my emotions sometimes as I am very erratic. There is no connecting point in the picture and I feel like that embodies me well because I haven’t really got my life together and am all over the place at the moment. I like the colours too as they remind me that there is always a guiding light in the dark and that only you can make a difference in your own life.
