Flowering plants undergo sexual reproduction to produce seeds. The male and female sex organs of a plant are found in the same flower

5 Plant sex cells Plants have male and female sex cells
Don’t produce eggs and sperm (like humans) Produce POLLEN GRAINS and OVULES

8 Parts of the Flower The STAMEN is the MALE part of the flower and is made up of the ANTHER and FILAMENT The ANTHER produces POLLEN grains The FILLAMENT holds the anther in place

9 Parts of the Flower The STIGMA is the FEMALE part of the plant. It is STICKY and catches pollen grains The OVARY contains the OVULES (the female sex cell).
