1 Walter Iooss Sports Photographer

2 biography Born May 15, 1943 in Temple, Texas
His family moved to East Orange, New Jersey Education: He attended German School of Photography in New York, 1960 Graduate Certificates: He graduated East Orange High School and he was awarded the Lucie Lifetime Achievement Award for Sports Photography. He started taking shots for sports Illustrated in High school He than signed to Atlantic records in New York from 1968 to 1972

3 Childhood Walter grew up in a house with just him and his parents
He has no siblings He had it pretty good with his parents blessings As Walter grew up, all he was about was sports and always being involved When he was a teenager he started getting that passion for photography and when he did he started taking shots at sports events near him and eventually went to a photography school in Manhattan at the age of 16

4 ChiLDHOOD A sports fan from the beginning, he started to photograph his friends playing baseball and football, as well as professional games in the New York area. Iooss started photographing his heroes and his favorite athletes when he got older, Mickey Mantle of the New York Yankees, and Raymond Berry and Johnny Unitas His father encouraged him when he realized photography was something his son really enjoyed. 5 Style of PHotography Walter takes pictures of famous athletes for himself and sports illustrated He takes any kind of photography in sports but his main one he focuses on is portraits and when he takes his portraits he focuses on more of a shady picture with less light but he has done some bright lighting portraits He cares about the lighting more than anything He used simple equipment like his camera, different lens Gloves, SD cards, lighting equipment Strobe Light Studio Tripods
