Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this program,
pharmacists will be able to:
Apply disease based guidelines recommendations to cardiovascular patients.
Manage pharmacotherapy for risk reduction in CV patients.
Adapt current literature to cardiovascular patients with multiple comorbidities
technicians will be able to:
Review common medications used to treat cardiovascular patients
Discuss how other health conditions effect the heart
Identify drug classes that improve heart health
Recognize the importance of medication compliance and impact on disease burden and how technicians might improve patient outcomes.
This is a knowledge based learning activity.
