With the inverted slips on the top drive on Pro Star rig 17 crew is able to push pipe in hole on longer horizontal wells. This feature allows us to work with one size of pipe which improves safety and efficiency because there is no need to switch out pipe, elevators, slips and rams for different size and weight of tubulars. The swivel head in the top drive allows us to do drill outs with out the use of a third party piece of equipment. (We have not used this feature in Cold Lake.) .
