6:30pm August 22, 2013 A smashing success! This was the 1st Champagne dinner ever hosted at Michael’s, featuring 5 course and 5 specially paired champagnes by Executive Chef David Coleman. Included a tableside reception cocktail: MC Ice Imperial, Tuscan Cantaloupe and fresh basil served over a giant Ice sphere. Completely sold out event with 54 attendees from several local restaurateurs, wine collectors, MH Irvine office, PWS, and a few couples celebrating anniversaries, engagements, and birthdays. Because of the dinner’s success- New Permanent Wine List placements- VC LGD and Dom Ruinart 2002 Alissa Urbano- Orange County

Fun Facts: Program began as a month long initiative and has now made it’s place as a 3 Thirty 3 event, twice a month…. Gains because of Program: New BTG on Permanent Menu: M&C Imperial Brut VCP Rose Program Additions: *Staff trainings conducted for each event. *Flight program established to educate consumer (flight of three from each menu for $25) * Hosted every other Friday of each month Depletions by brand: 13 9L cases Domain Chandon Including Etoile brut & rose, riche, brut, and rose 6 9L cases VCP (Including LGD, Vintage 04 and Vintage rose 04) 6 9L cases Moet & Chandon (including Grand Vintage 04 Brut and Rose, Imperial, Imperial Rose, Nectar, and Nectar rose) 3 9L cases Ruinart (Including Dom Ruinart, BDB, and Rose) Alissa Urbano- Orange County

Luxury Mixology Successes- 2013 Contemporary Cocktail Challenge Brands featured Hennessy Grand Marnier 10 CANE Belvedere Unfiltered Bartenders and Servers compiled their entrees for placements on their respective restaurant’s fall cocktail lists. Challenges: Getting accounts to see the versatility of Grand Marnier, Hennessy VS Opportunities & Selling Strategies Was able to utilize the transition into Fall Cocktail Menus and the following: Samples of ingredients Social Media Recipe cards with easily accessible cocktails Brown bag – batched cocktails Charlie Palmer- Costa Mesa Hennessy VS Marche Modern- Costa Mesa Glenmornagie Nectar D’or Belvedere Unfiltered The Bungalow- Corona Del Mar 10 CANE Landmark Steakhouse- Corona Del Mar Grand Marnier & Glenmorangie Lasanta A Restaurant- Newport Beach Hotel Laguna- Laguna beach Grand Marnier Alissa Urbano- Orange County
