3 In your Portfolio (paper/ipad to stick in your Portfolio) note down the:
what if’s?, issues, questions, factors and/or concerns that might need to be explored further to make an informed decision. These will assist with your inquiries and investigations into the BIG IDEA…

4 Some things to consider:
“How does tourism give me insight into the way in which communities balance resources?” Some things to consider: How do we develop in a sustainable way as a community? Sustainable development is the kind of development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. How do we interact with our environment in a sustainable way? "Ecotourism is ecologically sustainable tourism with a primary focus on experiencing natural areas that fosters environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation and conservation.“ Why is biodiversity important? What do I have to do to be a low impact and sustainable tourist?

5 Compass Points “How does tourism give me insight into the way in which communities balance resources?” Complete in your Portfolio: E = Excited : What’s the upside? W = Worrisome : What’s the downside? N = Need to Know What additional information would help you to evaluate things? S = Stance or Suggestion for Moving Forward What is your current stance and how will you find the answers and move forward in your evaluation of this idea?
