4. What should I do before the bell rings?
Enter the classroom
Pick up any papers on the bookcase
Check your folder for returned work (if expected)
Sit in your seat
Check the learning target and the homework posts
Check projection board for instructions
Get prepared for today’s learning #psychedup

5. Did we have homework?
Place hard-copy homework papers in a neat pile in the center of your group table.
One volunteer from the table will pick up the piles and place in the homework tray.
What if I am missing my homework?
BEFORE class starts complete Missing Homework Form (available on second shelf of bookcase).
Turn in Missing Homework Form with the other students’ homework papers at your table.

6. What do I need for class? 1 inch 3 ring binder (Science Only)
Pen or pencil
Ready to learn attitude
Chromebooks
Ear buds

7. But what about my cellphone?
Must not be used during class unless directed to by the teacher
Place phone screen down in square on desk or keep your phone away (pocket, purse etc…)during class
All phones will take a vacation during assessments at the luxurious Cell Phone resort & Spa (rated 4G by cell phone travelers magazine)

8. How do we transition between activities?
I will make a large T with my hands and say “Time Out”
Make T like mine and stop talking
If students around you are talking, get there attention by showing them your T

9. How do I retake an assessment?
Must fill out the form within the appropriate amount of time
Found in tray on second shelf of bookcase

10. What do I do when there is a substitute teacher?
Treat him/her with respect
Check Schoology for assignment
Work on the assigned materials
Any names the substitute writes down will be added to the Thursday detention list

11. How am I dismissed from the classroom?
Put away all materials, do not leave anything on your desk
Place trash in the appropriate receptacle
Push your chair in when you leave
Even though the bell is a guideline, please wait for the teacher to dismiss you (in case there is important information or instructions that need to be given)
Do not line up at the door
