Guidelines
Use tried and trusted storytelling conventions
Have a beginning, middle and end to your presentation
Timing
Please make sure to fill the time allocated to you and allow time for a brief Q&A
Company logos
You’re welcome to display your company’s logo on your first and last slide only
Style and font
Visually, bright colours don’t work as well as basic colours
Please use a basic easy to read font such as Arial or Arial bold,
Please avoid overlapping imagery
Your slide deck only reinforces the points you’re discussion
Avoid blocks of text in your slides
Take it one point at a time
Time your slides to show one discussion point at a time
Engage the audience – ask questions, quiz the audience, run a Q&A if time allows

Prepare 3 – 4 slides that:
Introduce each speaker
Set the tone for and frame the discussion
If you’re moderating a panel discussion, please:
Collaborate with each panelist beforehand to understand their area of expertise
Prepare questions for each panelist
Probe and challenge the panelists responses
