Practical sessions will be worksheet based porting the Linux kernel onto an ARM based SBC and developing applications for the board.

5. Assignment Craig’s part
This will monitor the progress on porting Linux onto the ARM SBC. This will involve building x-tools, kernel, libraries and applications
Tony’s part will look at using the features of the Linux 2.6 kernel to implement some real-time embedded system.
Some part of the assignment will involve looking into the real-time and embedded features of the Linux 2.6 kernel.
