1 *August 30th – EES Fall Pictures
Mrs. Woodham’s Class Week of August 28th *Parents: Make sure any money you send for snack money, etc… is labeled and in a Ziploc bag or envelope. *Please make sure your child has a change of clothes in their book bag at all times – I will keep their extra clothes in their book bag, not at school. *When your child is absent please remember to send in a Doctor’s excuse or parent excuse. If not, it will be counted as and unexcused absence. Remember no more than 10 parent notes are accepted and 7 unexcused absences means your child is truant. See Student Code of Conduct, pg. 8 for more detailed information on attendance. Please make sure your child is at school unless they are sick. Thank you for your help with this. *Don’t forget to work each night in the Homework Binder with your child. Just 15 minutes makes a big difference. *Reading – This week we will be learning how to write upper and lowercase Aa and learn what sound the letter Aa makes (a as in apple); Our sight words this week are the words “we,” “one,” and “in.” *Math – we are finishing our chapter on 2 -dimensional shapes.
