Abused and neglected children and elderly
Pornography everywhere
Homosexuality glorified
Adultery and fornication accepted
Rampant drug use
Violent crime

Organizational pattern ignored
Tolerance of sin
Plan of salvation changed
Reliance on feelings
Very idea of objective truth scorned
True disciples ridiculed

Temptation
Disappointment over our failures
Unbelieving or unfaithful friends and family
Problems and trials seem overwhelming
Disappointment from brethren
Damaged relationships
The daily grind

O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

Remember that God is always with us.

Romans 8:31  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Remember that with God’s help we can fight and win the good fight.

13. With God We can overcome.

Don’t lose sight of the goal.
