2 The Narrow Way Is Difficult
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

3 The world around us 2 Peter 2:7-8
Corrupt governments Murder in the name of false gods Babies murdered in the womb Abused and neglected children and elderly Pornography everywhere Homosexuality glorified Adultery and fornication accepted Rampant drug use Violent crime 2 Peter 2:7-8 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—

4 The Religious around us Psalm 119:136
Division extolled Worship not in truth Organizational pattern ignored Tolerance of sin Plan of salvation changed Reliance on feelings Very idea of objective truth scorned True disciples ridiculed Psalm 119:136 Rivers of water run down from my eyes, Because men do not keep Your law.

5 In our own lives Romans 7:24
Temptation Disappointment over our failures Unbelieving or unfaithful friends and family Problems and trials seem overwhelming Disappointment from brethren Damaged relationships The daily grind Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

6 What do we do? Remember that God is always with us.

7 Remember that god is always with us
Matthew 28:20 …and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Hebrews 13:5 For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Isaiah 40:29-31, 41:10 Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

8 Remember that god is always with us
Psalm 139:7-10 Psalm 23:4, 28:7 Romans 8:38-39 Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.

9 What do we do? Remember that God is always with us.
Remember that with God all things are possible.

10 With God all things are possible.
Mark 10:27 …“With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Isaiah 14:27 For the Lord of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?”

11 With God all things are possible.
Genesis 18:14 Is anything too hard for the Lord?... Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things,     and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. (ESV) Romans 8:31  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

12 What do we do? Remember that God is always with us.
Remember that with God all things are possible. Remember that with God’s help we can fight and win the good fight.

13 With God We can overcome.
Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Ephesians 3:16-21, 6:10-18 Psalm 119:28, Romans 15:4 Philippians 4:6-8, 1 Peter 5:6-10 Psalm 119:28 My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word.

14 With God We can overcome.
No matter who we are or where we come from 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

15 What do we do? Remember that God is always with us.
Remember that with God all things are possible. Remember that with God’s help we can fight and win the good fight. Don’t lose sight of the goal.

16 Trust god and fight 1 Timothy 1:12  I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, (ESV) Revelation 2:10, 2 Timothy 4:6-8 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
