The Network of Canadian EM Researchers held its inaugural meeting this spring in Banff.

18. E-Scan Supplement
A supplemental manuscript on research is in preparation on the landscape of Canadian EM research
Information from 2014 survey of EM researchers will be included, as well as data gathered during the development of NCER.

19. Competitions 61 grant proposals received for the 7 CAEP Grants
Five $5,000 grants
Two $10,000 grants (funded by the EMAF Annual Fund)
300 abstract submissions
Six top prizes were awarded for the best abstracts
Seven additional resident prizes were given
Eighteen moderated posters were presented as Morrison, Rowe, and Stiell Top-6 presentations

Through a partnership with CanVECTOR, an additional $5,000 grant and $250 abstract award will be available in 2016/17
Research Committee published a study on the CAEP Grants (Artz et al Research Evaluation 2016: doi: /reseval/rvv046) to follow up on the Bawden et al report (Bawden et al CJEM 2010: 12, 33-8)
