6 Johnson Scholarship Foundation Challenge CHALLENGE DETAILS The Johnson Scholarship Foundation has pledged over five years a $600,000 endowment gift to the UWF Foundation to challenge others to gift at least $1 million in scholarship endowment at UWF for need based student scholarships. THE UWF COMMITMENT UWF must raise $1 million in need based scholarship endowments over the five year period. 7 Johnson Scholarship Foundation Challenge CHALLENGE DETAILS The Johnson Scholarship Foundation has pledged over five years $100,000 to challenge others to support First Generation Scholarships at UWF. Gifts to the First Generation Scholarship are also currently matched 100% by the State of Florida First Generation Matching Grant Program. FIRST GENERATION MATCH PROGRAM 2008-2009 & 2009-2010 Over the last two years UWF submitted and received maximum match. Research and prospect screening completed by Blackbaud Analytics. Interviews to assess interest and support have begun with university and community leaders.
