2 PBIS Tier 1 System: Tiger Pride
EXPECTATIONS HALLWAY COMMONS BUS/PARKING LOT COMPUTERS/LIBRARY PREPAREDNESS Be on time. Take everything you need with you. Know your ID number when it is your turn to get your lunch Follow all safety guidelines. Be prepared to yield. Have all materials needed with you including your ID. Know your log in. RESPECT Be aware of classes going on. Talk quietly Stay to the right. Follow directions of ALL staff. Respect personal & public space. Clean up after yourself, including the area around you. Recognize others and the activities going on. Appreciate the opportunities provided. Yield as a courtesy. Push in chairs when you leave tables. Be aware of other classes and students around. Respect equipment. INTEGRITY Keep pathways clear. Be conscious of the lunch line order. Lead by example. Be helpful. Make the bus ride safe for everyone. Use school appropriate sites. Work quietly. Notify staff if damage is noticed. DIGNITY Use garbage cans & recycle bins. Clean up after yourself. Use conversational tone. Use proper school language. Allow younger children to load first Share your seat with someone new. Park in Student Lot. Keep your work space clean. Use time wisely. EXCELLENCE Hold the door open for someone. Pick up trash left by others. Help someone pick up dropped books. Sit with someone new at lunch. Encourage others to abide by the established guidelines. Expect others to follow your lead. Use resources and return them to the appropriate place. Return books on time.

3 Pride Time Freshmen PRIDE Time – All freshmen will be assigned an attendance area for the entire school year. This time period will predominantly focus on assignment completion. In the future, and as the year progresses, this PRIDE time will be utilized for other activities. Sophomore PRIDE Time – Students that are in good academic and behavioral standing will qualify for this placement. During PRIDE time, these students will be assigned to a supervised, designated area for free time. Junior /Senior PRIDE Time – Students that are in good academic and behavioral standing will qualify for this placement. During PRIDE time, these students will be allowed (if parental permission is on record) to leave campus or go to a designated study area. LOP (Loss of Privilege) Classes – Students in 10th through 12th grades that do not meet academic and behavioral standings will be placed in LOP classes for a specific amount of time. Time in LOP will vary depending on behavior infractions or grades below a C. RtI (Response to Intervention) Classes – Students identified as needing RtI Tier 2 interventions will receive additional academic assistance during PRIDE time. Teachers from Math and English subject areas will be available to assist students with homework completion, supplementary learning materials. If a student qualifies for this program, parents will be notified by the school.

Referrals include both major and minor behavior information 169 of the referrals have turned into offenses which required administrative disciplinary action 85 total students with an offense=17% of the student body having one or more referrals Average turn around time for a referral is .59 days
