NMS Make sure your speakers are on!

2 You will access PowerTeacher Pro from PowerSchool Teacher

4 Display Settings

5 Select Settings>Display Settings
Uncheck this option Set your other grading & display options & save

6 Category Setup

7 Click here to create a new category
Select Grading>Categories If you do not want to use one of them, click edit & mark it inactive PowerTeacher Pro comes with these built in categories Set up your new category & save

8 Grade Calculations

9 Select Settings>Traditional Grade Calculations
Select a class All classes default to calculate by total points. If you want to set up category weights or term weights click here. Setup category weights or term weights (for semester long classes) & save

10 Category and/or term weights
must be set up for each class for each term.

11 Creating Assignments & Entering Scores

12 Click here to create an assignment
Select Grading>Scoresheet Set up your assignment, save & close

13 The score inspector will appear
You can enter or tab to go down or across the scoresheet, or you can use the arrows Your new assignment will appear You can mass fill down or across Click in a cell to begin entering scores Special score codes Comments

14 Citizenship

15 At this time, PowerTeacher Pro does not allow
for citizenship grades like PowerTeacher Gradebook. Our workaround is to enter them in the final grade comments.

16 Click comment Bank Select Grading>Scoresheet Click on the comment icon Click on a final grade The citizenship/attitude comments will be listed at the top of the list in the comment bank. Select the citizenship/attitude comment that you want on the report card along with any other comment you want to use from the comment bank.

18 Change students Select a student Select Students>Demographics This screen shows student & parent information
