How the ECML works: 4-year medium term programmes of projects coordinated by international expert teams National contact points in all member states National nominating authorities in all member states Nominated participants from each member state who form national and international networks and function as multipliers Interactive online platform for expert communication Project results published as books, CD-ROMs, Internet materials, etc.

6 ECML: 15 years of promoting excellence in language education
2009 in figures: 988 participants in activities financed by the ECML 48 events organised, 52 supported by the ECML 21 projects in progress 54 publications in free distribution 9 new translations of ECML publications >400,000 accesses to ECML publications on the ECML website >1,2 million visits to the ECML’s main website >5,750 subscribers to the European Language Gazette >640 events registered in 47 countries for the EDL 2009
