15 Have your parents put this in their phone!
Attendance Turn to page 3 in the planner and read the Attendance Section. An unexcused absence is an absence from school which has not been cleared by a parent or school official through the Attendance Office. All absences must be cleared by a parent or guardian through the attendance office!!! An unexcused absence is considered a truancy. We will contact parent/guardians regarding truancies. Call Mrs G. at… Have your parents put this in their phone!

16 Early Dismissal info….. If you need to leave during the day for an appointment you need to… Pick up an Early Dismissal slip from the Student Office prior to leaving the building. Students must check out through the attendance office before they leave. Failure to do so will be considered a truancy and will not be cleared.

17 Tardies Being tardy to class not only impacts your educational experience but also disrupts the educational process for others. Being on time is an expectation at LC. Student’s who are more than 10 minutes late are recorded as Unexcused Absent and need to report to the attendance office.

18 Hallway expectations Students must have a RED hall pass when in the halls during class time. Time in the hallway should be limited and cause no disruption to any classroom’s learning environment. Students in the hallways should not be using their cell phones or electronic devices.

19 Cell Phones/Electronic Devices
Cell phones are not to be used during class time. If a teacher determines that the technology is a disruption that item is confiscated. Parents may pick up the item during normal business hours in the business office. Failure to follow this policy could result in a lunch detention. Again, if you are in the hall during class time using your cell phone, it may be confiscated and turned over to the business office.
