The Major Strengths Discovered in our program were revealed in our reading programs for all grade levels on the spring 2012 administration of the CRCT.

13 CRCT SUBGROUPS ALL students:
Overall, in the areas of Reading/ELA we had overall increase of 1.3% Overall, in the areas of Math we had an overall increase of 11.5% Black students: Overall, in the areas of Reading/ELA we had overall increase of .7% Overall, in the areas of Math we had an overall increase of 11.2% SWD students is N/A However, Hapeville had an Overall, in the areas of Reading/ELA we had overall increase of 12.9% Overall, in the areas of Math we had an overall increase of 24.2% ELL students: N/A Economically Disadvantaged students: Overall, in the areas of Reading/ELA we had overall increase of 5.8% Overall, in the areas of Math we had an overall increase of 16.2%

14 GOALS FOR IMPROVEMENT Objective 1 – To increase the percentage of full academic year 6th through 8th graders Meeting or exceeding content mastery in the areas of science Objective 2 – To Increase the percentage of full academic year 6th through 8th graders meeting or exceeding content mastery in the area of Mathematics. Objective 3 – To Increase the percentage of full academic year 6th through 8th graders meeting content mastery in the area of social studies. Objective 4 – To Increase the percentage of student with disabilities served in the general education environments greater than 80% of the day for full academic year 6th through 8th graders

15 HOW WE WILL MEET OUR GOAL
INCREASE DIFFERINTIATED INSTRUCTION INCORPORATE MORE TECHNOLOGY OFFER EXTENDED LEARNING TUTORIALS ON SATURDAY AND AFTER SCHOOL PROVIDE ACADEMIC COUNSELING FOR PARENTS INCREASE PARENT INVOVLEMENT

16 TOGETHER WE WILL CONTINUE TO STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE AT HCMS.
WITH 4 YEARS OF DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL STATUS WITH TITLE 1, HCMS STRIVES TO CONTINUE ITS SUCCESSFUL STRIDES IN STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT.
