7 IDENTIFIED AREAS  Based on the data from the 2014 CRCT, science and social studies were areas that need improvement for Oakley ES.  Science scores were:  70.5% for third grade with 25% exceeding  73.3% for fourth grade with 24% exceeding  59% for fifth grade with 13% exceeding.  Social Studies scores were:  79% for third grade with 27% exceeding  70% for fourth grade with 13% exceeding  63% for fifth grade with 6% exceeding

8 GOALS  The measurable goals/benchmarks we have established to address the needs were...  70% of our students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 will achieve On Track or Commendable status in the area of Science as measured by the Georgia Milestones Assessment during Spring 2015.  70% of our students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 will achieve On Track or Commendable status in the area of Social Studies as measured by the Georgia Milestones Assessment during Spring 2015.  85% of our students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 will achieve On Track or Commendable status in the area of Math as measured by the Georgia Milestones Assessment during Spring 2015.

9 TITLE I FUNDS Instruction (Fund A Program)= $168,549  Two additional teachers to reduce class sizes, supplemental instructional materials and supplies, supplemental computerized and web-based software.

10 TITLE I FUNDS Improvement of Instruction (Fund C Program)= $124,331  One full-time Math instructional coach to provide K-5 core teacher support; supplementary Math consultant for teacher professional development training; registration fees for K-5 th grade teachers to attend workshops/trainings on Differentiated Instruction, use of research-based instructional strategies, and Common Core implementation.

11 TITLE I FUNDS Other Support Services (Fund K Program) = $28,675  One full time parent liaison to support parent education and involvement to support SWP, supplemental child care services for K- 5 core academic parent workshops, parent resources to help child(ren) at home in core content areas; and registration fees for parent liaison’s attendance to workshops relative to effective practices on parent involvement and engagement.

12  Every Title I eligible school, in collaboration with parents, must prepare a site level parent involvement policy. The Parent Involvement Policy describes how the school will involve the parents in an organized, ongoing, and timely way in the planning, review, and improvement of the Title I program at their school. 13  The Compact describes the responsibilities of the school, the parent, and the student to support the student academic achievement goals.
