3 Who I am, and Why I Created Storyboard That
I’m not a normal EdTech Founder I have a Bachelors in Management and a Masters in Computer Science I worked for 10 years in Corporate in Boston, Barcelona, and Sydney No matter what country I was in, or what department I worked in I saw the same problems again and again. (I also noticed I was not immune to the same areas for Personal Growth) I organized my thoughts into “The 3 Cs” Critical Thinking Communication Collaboration I created Clever Prototypes in March of 2012 to create solutions and tools to help everyone with the 3Cs. The first product we launched was Storyboard That, with the idea of using “Visual Frameworks” to organize, structure and communicate ideas We have since launched Photos For Class to easily, quickly and safely find the perfect photo EdTech and 20/20 Knowing the needs of teachers and learning about “Graphic Organizers” it is very obvious why Storyboard That was quickly a classroom favorite Aaron Sherman April 2015 at Storyboard That Headquarters, Boston, MA

4 Before we start …. A quick poll
Who wants their students to create high quality work they can be proud of? Who wants their students to present this work to the class? Who has used storyboards before in class? Who has used graphic organizers before in class? Who has used Storyboard That before?

5 Storyboard That in a Nut Shell
Storyboards are a highly flexible graphic organizer With a few minutes of thinking storyboards are highly adaptable to most lessons Storyboard That makes creating storyboards easy and fun Allowing for “Education through the back door*” Storyboard That makes presenting and sharing storyboards a breeze Communication and collaboration don’t happen without sharing * Carla Beard from Web English teacher gave me that term and said I could borrow it!
