1 APARTMENT MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
by G.Leelavathi. M.Prasanthi. M.Kathyayeni.

2 Abstract Now a days its highly required system for which the managers of apartments are looking for, as they have to maintain the data of many things and to monitor the status of those things. Let us discuss few things for example things like status of the portion ,i.e.., whether it is vacant or occupied and the status of payment of bills(Electricity, water, maintenance,etc..). As the manager is responsible for all these activities and he has to pay the bills at regular intervals to concern departments. This system is helpful in managing those things are remaining the things on time to the customers at right time.

3 Requirement Elicitation
Introduction Problem Statement Current System Need for Automation Proposed System

4 Introduction When trying to decide which apartment will be best for you, it's important to consider the amount of support each landlord is willing to provide for his or her tenants. In order to determine this, you should find out the way potential apartments handle maintenance as well as security issues. It's important to find out the way your landlord handles repairs before they become a problem.

5 Conti…… You need to find a complex with a good maintenance system, find out from an apartment representative whether or not they have any type of security guards on site. Ask if they re-key apartments once the old tenants move out. you must research the area to determine how safe it is.

6  Problem Statement There are certain problems if the current system is manual. They are Security issues. Vehicle Parking. Water, Power,Drainage,Lift issues.

7 Need For Automation In order to overcome the drawbacks of manual system, the new system is designed. Since manual system take more time to compute and the result may not be accurate, we need to automate the system such a way that a person with little knowledge can also easily compute.

8 Proposed System A new system is proposed which has all the capabilities to fulfill the requirements. The system provides user friendly interface that guides the user from handling the activities. Provides full security to the database. Provides the user with graphical interface to reduce complexity.     Fewer amount of time and money.     Maintaining the sequence details in the database.

9 Functional Requirements
The functional overview describe the interaction between the system and its environment independent of its implementation. The environment includes the user and any other external system with which the system interacts.

10 Non functional requirement
Usability: Usability is the ease with which a user can learn to operate, prepare inputs for, and interpret outputs of a system or components.

11 Reliability Reliability is the ability of a system or component to perform its required functions under stated conditions for a specific period of time.

12 Performance Performance requirements are concerned with quantifiable attributes of the system such as response time, throughput, availability, and accuracy. When the user selects the template, the information should be display correctly in quick time. The maintenance of templates are more stable without any redundancy it results in increasing the performance.

13 Supportability Supportability requirements are concerned with the ease of changes to the system after deployment, includes adaptability, maintainability. This project allows to add any new templates and modifications after deployment according to user requirements. It can be run on any Web Browser.

14 Implementation Implementation requirements are the constraints on the implementation of the system, including the use of a specified tools, programming languages, or hardware platform. For better implementation, this project is developed by using Asp.net and Mysql.

15 Software Requirements
Operating system: windows XP Front end :Asp.net Back end : Mysql server

16 Hardware Requirements:
Processor : Pentium-4 Ram :1 GB Hard Disk : 120 GB
