3 URBACT PROGRAMME European funding programme, under ERDF umbrella
Exchange and learning programme that enables cities to work together to build solutions to major urban challenges. 27 projects, with 6 to 12 cities or other partners from around Europe URBACT II is 181 cities, 29 countries, and 5,000 active participants My Generation I Tuesday, 17 July 2018 I Page 3

6 BUILDING NEW NETWORKS AND ACTION
As a result of MY GENERATION each city has a new Local Action Plan Each city sets up a “Local Support Group” To identify and consolidate in the local networks new links between the youth, local communities, education and business MY GENERATION has good practice examples and methods everybody can use My Generation I Tuesday, 17 July 2018 I Page 6

MY GENERATION is about promoting the positive potential of the young generation in cities WITH THE YOUTH AND FOR THE YOUTH In order to achieve this we need to TRANSFORM the way young people are involved in projects, services and city matters We need to move away from “target group” thinking to CO-CREATION We need to transform our workshops, activities, projects to new kinds of learning spaces, not just TALKING ABOUT CO-CREATION, but actually CO-CREATING My Generation I Tuesday, 17 July 2018 I Page 10
