This PowerPoint series has 4 segments to provide managing instructions in each area of the e-card tab within Smart Cookies:

This first segment will focus on Managing Girl Contacts for E-Card Invites by adding the contacts of the Girls friends and family.
Log on to abcsmartcookies.com to get started.

3. Log On To: www.abcsmartcookies.com
Login to with your Girl Username and password
If you don’t remember your UN and password, have your parent or guardian either open the confirmation that was sent or click on “Forgot Your Password” on the login screen.
Once logged on, the main Dashboard is shown.
Hover over the “e-card” link tab to see the following choices:
Send e-card
My Contacts
View e-card Orders
View e-card Sent
e-card Tools
Click on Send e-card

4. E-card - Create New Contacts
To Create New Contacts, fill in at the bottom of the screen:
The first name, last name and address of each contact you wish to send an ecard to
Click the preferred language. The ecard can be sent in English or Spanish
Click the plus “+” sign to add the contact.
Repeat those steps for each contact you want to add

5. E-card - My Contacts
This is the My Contacts page which contains all contact information entered.
Click on the ‘hamburger menu’ represented by the 3 dots at the end of each contact to see options to edit or delete a contact
If preferred, the My Contacts page also has the option of having the girl upload all her contacts at once by using a simple excel file. (.csv comma delimited format).

6. E-card - My Contacts – Import / Export Contacts
To Import contacts, click on the words “Import Contacts” and it will show how to upload according to instructions.
To Export contacts, click on the word “Export” and a file (shown as GirlContacts.xlsx) will be downloaded to save to your desktop

7. E-card - My Contacts – Edit or Delete
To edit the contact info, click on the words “Edit Contact” and the “Edit Info” screen will appear. Navigate to the fields you wish to update, make the necessary changes and click the “Save” button.
If you wish to delete a contact, click on the word “Delete” to remove it from your contact list. You will see a confirmation pop up to verify that you want to delete the entry for the data cannot be retrieved once deleted.

This second segment will focus on Girls Sending E-card Invites where girls can send different types of e-cards to those friends and family contacts she has entered.
Log onto your Girl account through abcsmartcookies.com to get started.

11. E-card - Send e-cards
From the Dashboard, hover over the e-card link and click on Send e-card
Select the contacts you would like to send an ecard invite by checking the individual boxes at the end of the row or click “Select All” to choose all contacts
Click Next

12. E-card- Select delivery type – Direct Ship / Girl Delivery
All ecards will contain the “Direct Ship” delivery option for customers to order and pay for cookies online and those orders will be shipped directly from the bakery to that customer, shipping & handling charges will apply.
Click the box at the end of the row labeled “Girl Delivery” for only those contacts that you are willing and able to deliver cookies to in person
Contacts marked for Girl Delivery will have BOTH Invites sent to either order cookies the “Direct Ship” method or “Girl delivery” method.
Remember, for Girl Delivery orders, you order online but do not pay online, rather, payment must be collected by the Girl Scout when she hand delivers the cookies to you.
If the “Girl Delivery” box is not checked, the customer will receive the invitation for ordering via the direct ship method only
E-cards are multi-use and can be used to place multiple orders throughout the sale
Click Next

13. E-card - Create custom message
You can customize a personal message on both the English and Spanish version ecards to be included with the invitation to purchase cookies
Place a check in the box preceding each section of the customization options that you would like to include with your e-cards
Complete the custom message for each section by adding in your cookies sales goals, how you troop plans to use cookie earnings, your favorite cookie and the name of your Council or Troops donation program if applicable
Each field is limited to 100 characters
Click Next

14. E-card - Review & Confirm
You will see a preview of your ecards, complete with any customization that was added
E-cards for Direct Ship and Girl delivery are shown on the left.
E-cards for just Direct Ship are shown on the Right
If you need to change the shipment option, click the “Back” button at the bottom of the screen to edit any changes to your e-card(s)
If your ecards are correct and ready to send, click ‘Send Now’

15. E-card - Confirmation e-card invitations were sent
You will see a confirmation that the e-card invitation was successfully sent
You can either “View e-card Sent List” or ‘Send Another e-card”
The Contact will receive an inviting them to order cookies, along with any custom messaging that you included

This third segment will focus on Girls Viewing E-Card Orders where she monitor all orders from her friends and family.

19. E-card - View e-card orders
Hover over the e-card link and click on the View e-card orders tab from the e-card menu option
You will see each order placed via e-card and via the Smart Cookies Mobile app if you are using it to take orders
The dashboard provides information on the number of sales, packages sold via Girl delivery and Smart Cookies Direct Ship, as well as showing how many orders need to be paid for and/or delivered
The order grid shows the name of the customer and the order they placed
There is an indicator for whether or not the order has been paid for (this is managed by the girl for Girl delivery orders)
You can see the order status of ordered, delivered or cancelled (this is also managed by the girl)
You can print a report showing all orders received, including direct ship orders
Click the ‘hamburger menu’ on the far right of each order line to see the options to:
View Order Detail
Edit Order
Update My Contact
Cancel

20. View e-cards sent
Hover over the e-card sub link and click on “View e-cards sent” option on the e-card menu
The dashboard shows:
how many ecards invites have been sent
how many ecards have been viewed
how many orders have been placed via ecard
how many of the e-card invitations have not been opened
The grid shows the detail on the date e-cards were sent, the contacts they were sent to and their address and the Status of the order.
The ‘hamburger menu’ , represented by the 3 dots on the far right of the screen, under the word Action, shows the type of e-card that was sent
The search field allows you to search for any of the data displayed on the order grid

Once the Girl is Logged into her Girl account in ABCsmartcookies.com, hover over the e-card link and click on the “e-card Tools” option on the e-card menu.
My Video Link: Girls can create and share a personal video that can be sent with e-cards
The My Smart Cookies Direct Ship Link: Each girl is provided with a unique URL link that can be copied & pasted onto social media sources and in .
The My Smart Cookies Direct Ship link takes the customer to the Smart Cookies Direct Ship order page
