2 Passive Voice It is used when the focus is on the action.
It is not important or not known, who or what is performing the action. Example: MY BIKE WAS STOLEN Fact: It is stolen I don’t know by who

3 Passive Voice Sometimes it is more polite than active voice. Example:
A MISTAKE WAS MADE In this case, I focus on the fact that a mistake was made, but I do not blame anyone.

4 Form of Passive Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle
Example: A LETTER WAS WRITTEN BE + Past Participle = Passive Voice The tense of BE indicates the tense of the Passive Voice.

5 Active Voice to Passive Voice
Identify the verb tense Switch the positions of the subject and object of a sentence. Change the verb form. Example: Leonardo Da Vinci painted La Mona Lisa La Mona Lisa was painted by L. Da Vinci
